Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) has acquired all North American rights to the animated feature film “Bunyan And Babe: A Giant Adventure,” featuring the voice talent of John Goodman, Kelsey Grammer and Jeff Foxworthy.
Directed by Tony Bancroft, Bunyan And Babe is a modern take on the folk story of legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyan (Goodman) and his sidekick, Babe the Blue Ox (Foxworthy).
With the help of two adventurous kids, Bunyan and Babe work to rescue a town from the evil clutches of a menacing property developer (Grammer).

“Bunyan And Babe brilliantly thrusts two beloved classic characters into the modern world with dazzling results,” said Vincent Scordino, senior VP of Theatrical Releasing, for Cinedigm. “We’re thrilled to be bringing this beautifully told family film to audiences across North America.”

The film is a co-production of Exodus Film Group / Toonz Entertainment, produced by Exodus’s John D. Eraklis and Max Howard, and P. Jayakumar, CEO of Toonz Animation.
The deal was negotiated by Cinedigm’s director of Acquisitions Kristin Harris with Eraklis representing the filmmakers.
