Bollywood films are so bad in quality that they cannot perform well at the global box office. As Bollywood has become a family fiefdom, the sons, daughters, and other relatives of the veteran Bollywood film artists work in new films for peanuts to keep the costs in control.
Since these films are largely made for uneducated Indian masses, they do not earn much in the market. That’s why the revenue share of Indian films in the global market is less than 1%. Almost all Bollywood films run just for a few days at local theaters frequented by moviegoers who don’t understand the meaning of content quality. Click here to know more about India.
Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan play innocent yet ambitious village folks Mauji and Mamta living in heartland India. They dream to make a name for themselves and fight against all odds in the upcoming Bollywood film Sui Dhaaga – Made in India.
While Anushka plays an embroiderer, Varun plays the role of a tailor. Their fresh chemistry appears in the second song titled Khatar Patar from the film. They show Mauji and Mamta’s heart-warming journey of becoming business partners from just being life partners.
Anushka says, “Khatar Patar is a celebration of finding a purpose to one’s life. It is a salute to the spirit of entrepreneurship. The song beautifully shows the journey of Mauji and Mamta who become pillars of strength for each other as they dream together and try to make a name for themselves. It captures some of the most beautiful moments of their lives.”
Varun says, “It is an extremely meaningful song in the context of the film. Mauji and Mamta are inspired to dream big and this song shows their journey from being life partners to becoming business partners. All the husbands and wives who are doing business together will definitely relate to Mauji and Mamta’s story of struggle and victory, pain and incredible joy.”
Papon Mahanta lends his voice to Khatar Patar to a composition by Anu Malik.
