MundoFox announced its all-new primetime lineup that includes the premieres of the series “El Capo 3” and the telenovela “Lado a Lado.”
“El Capo 3” is scheduled for weekdays at 9PM/8C on MundoFox starting Tuesday, March 25.
The new chapter begins as Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo serves his sentence in a U.S. prison, where he conceives a new project that will surprise the world; to destroy the worldwide drug empire that he helped create.
After all he has been through, Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo embarks on a new adventure that will take him around the world to challenge international cartels.
His life will be in constant danger as he takes on this deadly endeavor. As in the previous two installments, season three promises viewers non-stop action, drama and passion.
“El Capo 3,” featuring Marlon Moreno, is the first Spanish-language series to return for a third season on U.S Spanish-language broadcast television.
Colombian star Marlon Moreno reprises his role as el capo, “Pedro Pablo León Jaramillo.” Along with Moreno, Cristina Umaña returns as “Bruna” and Oscar Borda as “Tato,” both joined by renowned actors and newcomers to the series produced by FoxTelecolombia, Poncho Herrera, Juan Alfonso Baptista “El Gato” and Michelle Manterola.
“Lado a Lado” is scheduled for weekdays at 8PM/7C on MundoFox starting today, March 18.
Globo novela “Lado a Lado” (Side by Side) tells the story of two women born in opposite worlds and their struggle to find freedom in conservative 20th century Brazil.
Viewers will take a journey through time, as seen through the eyes of Isabel, a brave woman of modest origins, and Laura, an idealist born into wealth and luxury.
Stories of love, hope, deceit and heartbreak intertwine as the two young women ahead of their time face the harsh realities of their world.
Separated from her true love and a son she thinks is dead, Isabel (Marjorie Estiano) flees to Europe, finding comfort in dancing.
Laura (Camila Pitanga), struggling with her own disappointment with love, devotes herself to teaching.
Reuniting in Rio years later, they discover a changed world, and are able to find happiness in the arms of the men they’ve always loved.
Estiano and Pitanga are joined by a Brazilian cast, including Thiago Fragoso, Lázaro Ramos, Patrícia Pillar, Werner Schunemann, Maria Clara Gueiros, Caio Blat and Cássio Gabus Mendes.
