Japanese singer Namie Amuro and Dimension Point, one of the labels at Avex Music Creative Inc., released the “world’s first” Google Chrome music video Thursday.

The music video is for “Anything”, the first single off of her 11th upcoming 11th album, “_genic”, released on June 4, 2015.

The new music video leverages Google Chrome Extensions to allow viewers to enjoy an enhanced version of the video. The Google Chrome version offers a brand new experience, unraveling mysteries in the standard version, and uses windows and tabs to express the music featured in the video.

Namie Amuro commented, “I hope everyone enjoys this new visual experience.”

The music video expresses the song’s title, “Anything”. Namie Amuro sings as if she is speaking to the listener, surrounded by scenes that are made dark and somber by an unseen force.

In the final scene, she shoulders the prayers of hope from the people, the world is renewed, and the landscape becomes full of light.

In the final scene when Namie Amuro reaches out her right hand, a download begins, giving the user a surprise present only available with the Google Chrome version.
