The 10th edition of ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival – will be held in Paris, France on April 10th-12th 2015.
ÉCU features the work of independent filmmakers from around the world. It provides a platform for storytellers to reach out to the audiences.
Submissions for ÉCU 2015 are now open for the following categories.

As ÉCU charges fee for submissions, you can check out the price list. You also can check out your eligibility for participation by going through the ÉCU’s rules and regulations.
Among the options to submit your films, you can choose Withoutabox, which is an online platform for independent film community including filmmakers and film festivals.
Film Submission Deadlines
Early Bird Deadline: November 23rd, 2014
Regular Deadline: December 21st, 2014
Late Deadline: January 11th, 2015
WAB Extended Deadline: January 18th, 2015
Script Competition Deadline: March 8th, 2015
IMPORTANT: Before sending your film make sure you have:
1. Copy of your film – DVD (clearly labeled with Name of film / Director /Run Time / Aspect ratio) OR Vimeo link OR link to a downloadable file (via WeTransfer / Dropbox)
2. Non-English films need to be subtitled in English and if the film is in English then French subtitles
3. Two digital stills of film (high resolution)
4. One digital photo of director
5. Short synopsis in English and in French
6. Official trailer
The 2015 film Official Selection will be announced on February 18th and Script Competition shortlisted scripts on March 16th 2015 and will offer ÉCU festival attendees of all ages and tastes a chance to experience the unique offerings that can be found at an indie film fest.
