The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced Sunday that it will pay tribute to Clive James, the author, critic and broadcaster, at the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards.
In recognition of creative contribution to television, BAFTA’s tribute to Clive James included a short film featuring highlights from some of the broadcaster’s best-known work.
The tribute was led by writer and broadcaster Charlie Brooker, with the film including footage of James receiving his BAFTA Special Award earlier this year.
Alongside Clive James’ tribute at the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards, BAFTA presents British producer and writer Jeff Pope with the Special Award and news correspondent and presenter Jon Snow with the Fellowship, the highest accolade the Academy can bestow.
The House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards event was hosted by Graham Norton at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London, and broadcast on BBC One and BBC One HD Sunday at 20.00.
